Coefficients for different kettlebell weights
For competition rules where lifters in the same category use kettlebells of different weights. Score = reps × coefficient. The lighter kettlebell has a coefficient of 1.00; the heavier kettlebell’s coefficient is yours to choose.
The dashed line on the charts is “by kettlebell weight”: 32 / 24 = 1.33. This is arithmetic, not a recommendation.
Score
- 24 kg × 1.00
- 32 kg × 1.33
- by kettlebell weight × 1.33
Equivalent reps
- chosen × 1.33
- by kettlebell weight × 1.33
- equal kettlebells × 1.00
- you can drag the point
Score 80: 80 reps with 24 kg or 61 with 32 kg (61 × 1.33 = 81.1)
A single coefficient sets the same ratio at every level: if 50 reps with the heavier kettlebell equal 80 with the lighter one, then 25 equal 40. If strong lifters and beginners cope with the heavier kettlebell differently, a single coefficient can’t reflect that.
